Sakura Finetek establishes new subsidiary in Malaysia
Accelerating the enhancement of customer support and awareness in the Southeast Asian market
New
Sakura Finetek Japan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Satoru Ishizuka), a total supplier of pathology instruments and equipment, announced that it has established new local subsidiary in Malaysia, called Sakura Finetek Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. located at Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, and will commence operations in October this year.
The new base will strengthen customer support in the fast-growing South East Asian market and further accelerate our overseas expansion.
Southeast Asia is a market that is expected to expand in line with economic growth and longer life expectancy. Since the opening of our Asia Regional Office in Malaysia in 2019, we have strengthened our customer support and sales activities in the South East Asian market. With the establishment of this new legal entity, we aim to further strengthen these efforts and increase awareness of the Sakura Finetek Group and our products.
The Sakura Finetek Group (Sakura Finetek USA, Sakura Finetek Europe and Sakura Finetek Japan) works globally to realize its mission of “Advancing cancer diagnostics by providing integrated solutions for anatomic pathology and patients through best-in-class innovation, quality and customer care”.
As a total solution provider in pathology, Sakura Finetek Japan will provide optimal products, reagents and services to help improve the efficiency and accuracy of pathology specimen preparation.
