Strengthen sales of Southeast Asian markets to speed up overseas expansion
– Established Asia Regional Office as the first overseas base –
Sakura Finetek Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Satoru Ishizuka), a total supplier of pathological diagnostic instrument and equipment, has recently established the “Sakura Finetek Japan Co., Ltd. Regional Office (hereinafter referred to as Asia Regional Office) ” in the Petaling Jaya city, Selangor state and will start
full operation from April this year. We will accelerate overseas expansion by enhancing sales to the significantly growing Southeast Asian markets based in Malaysia.
There are more than 1,000 pathology-related facilities in Southeast Asia (about 1/2 of Japan), and the market scale is expected to increase further following economic growth and increase in life expectancy. Sakura Finetek Japan will aim to further expand sales in the Southeast Asian markets with the opening of this Asia Regional office. The Asia Regional Office is the first overseas base of our company, for our Asia-Pacific region including Japan as the activity area.
