Sakura Finetek Japan will continue to support customers in histopathology during the state of emergency (April 8~May 6th, 2020)
As the number of COVID-19 cases in Japan continue to rise, the Japanese government has declared a state of emergency in Tokyo, Osaka and other 5 prefectures.
Nagano, where our manufacturing plant is located is not included in this declaration and we will be implementing the necessary measures to minimize the impact of these restrictions.
Additionally, Sakura Finetek Japan is announcing the following policies and measures to help curb the spread of the disease and ensure that we can continue to serve our customers.
These policies and measures will be in place until May 6, 2020.
Infection Control and Business Continuity Policy
・Infection control – we aim to protect the lives of our employees and their families and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
・Business continuity – we will continue to serve and support the needs of histopathology labs, in accordance with our mission of “Advancing Cancer Diagnostics”.
Measures to Combat the Spread of COVID-19
・We appreciate your understanding regarding the canceling of face-to-face visits or meetings. We respect your decision and the decision of our employees to cancel visits or meetings due to infection concerns.
・All Sakura Finetek Japan employees are working from home and no domestic/overseas business travel is permitted. However, Sakura Finetek Japan takes its role in ensuring that your healthcare system remains operational very seriously and herefore urgent corrective maintenance will be executed. This rule is in force until further notice
Production Status
Uninterrupted supply of histopathology equipment, consumables and services to you is our priority.
There is currently no serious delay in product delivery, but should this situation change, we will inform you immediately.
